I am a ceramicist based in Bristol.

For over 30 years, I had been attending local pottery classes as a hobby, and in 2024 I swapped teaching Primary Education for making my pottery full-time at the end of my garden.

Inspiration for my work comes from my love of all things outdoors.  I love cycling and hiking in the British countryside. The outdoor elements are reflected in the colourful Air, Water, Earth and Fire designs.

In the footsteps of William Morris, the work is functional and aesthetically pleasing, as he said: "Have nothing in your houses that you do not know to be useful, or believe to be beautiful."

My work is available from Blaze Artists' Cooperative at 84 Colston Road. Bristol and from many of the local markets I attend.

I also teach pottery at Make Ceramics Education Studio, 124 East Street. Bristol.
